Behaviour Intervention
Center for Children (BICC)
Founded in 1998, BICC therapy treatment applies five pedagogical approaches, the Analysis of Verbal Behaviour and Functional Analysis methods. These evidence-based strategies are designed to support and improve the learning processes and education success of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and with specific learning challenges. Reviews cases of neurodevelopmental disorders, including developmental speech-language disorders, global developmental delay, language disorder, speech sound disorder, social communication disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and children at risk of literacy difficulties.
BICC strives for research opportunities related to effective intervention strategies and provides outreach consultation for families and preschools. Research projects on the learning process of neurodevelopmental disorders.
BICC has consistently provided high-quality services to children, with the objective of helping children to integrate into mainstream education and providing the support necessary for children to reach their true academic potential.
